Sunday April 27th, from 11am to 5pm @ Hartpury University & Kingsholm Stadium

Gloucester Rugby invites coaches to an exclusive Talent Identification Workshop, alongside the internal U15 Foundation Phase Festival, and Gloucester Rugby's Premiership match-up against Exeter Chiefs. Enhance your coaching skills, enjoy the match, and network with other professionals, all while experiencing a memorable day packed with rugby!

What’s Included?

Meet & Greet with Academy staff, including Wayne Thompson (Head of Academy), and Tom Page (Foundation Phase Manager).
Talent Development workshop led by Academy staff to provide coaches with information about the Gloucester Rugby "SHED" principles of development.
Talent Identification workshop led by Academy staff to provide insight into the "GLAWS" principles of what makes a talented rugby player.
Access to the Gloucester Rugby Scouting System, including a workshop to support coaches to use it in the field.
Match ticket to Gloucester Rugby vs Exeter Chiefs
Free parking at the Training Centre
Pitch-side observation of the Gloucester Rugby team’s pre-match warm-up

Schedule for the Evening:

10:45– Coaches arrive at Hartpury University
11:00– Introductions to Academy staff
11:30– Classroom workshops led by Academy staff
12:30– Observation (and practice Talent ID) of U15 Foundation Phase Festival
13:30– Transfer to Kingsholm Stadium
14:30– On-pitch observation of Gloucester Rugby warm-up
14:50– Take your seats for the match 
16:15– Half-time: Informal networking and free pint
17:00– Evening wraps up, collect resources and head home
