Meet at the Rotunda Museum to join the Hidden Horizons team for a two hour walk along the magnificent South Bay in Scarborough. On the walk you will see (and touch) dinosaur footprints from the Jurassic (165 million years old), and see the evidence for how the area was once a lush, tropical river delta.
Depending on the tides and the state of the beach some days will also include an opportunity to hunt for fossils on the beach and explore the varied modern-day life in the rock-pools. The walk is suitable for all ages, and the majority is wheelchair and pushchair friendly, well behaved dogs are welcome. All under16s must be accompanied.
These walks all take place on Tuesdays when the Rotunda also runs
