RETRO NIGHT PROMOTIONS PRESENTS  We invite you to join our 10th Anniversary of RETRO NIGHT. The finest NIGHT OF MUSIC FROM BANDS AND DJS NESTLED BEAUTIFULLY BETWEEN CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEARS EVE AND A STABLE EVENING OF ENTERTAINMENT ON MANY PEOPLE’s festive calendar.We’ve kept the entry prices the same over the last few years in recognition to the cost of living but there is also no ‘Shrinkflation’ with the winning formula of 2 live bands and resident DJ to entertain you. The 5 piece Butterfly Collective are joined on stage again by our dear friend Andy Melbourne on trombone. This Mod/Ska/Soul band play classic covers from the likes of The Jam, The Who, Small Faces, Stone Roses, The Specials, Billy Ocean, Ocean Colour Scene, Oasis (to name but a few), with the power and energy of the original artists. Butterfly Collective also play original material in similar genres as available on Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music and all music streaming and uploading sites and are constantly writing new material. Together for 13+ years and gigging across the country at venues, festivals, scooter rallies with an ever growing following, they’ve also been honoured to play the likes of the Cavern in Liverpool a handful of times and supported bands such as The Lambrettas, Secret Affair and The Chords UK.This year’s support act had to be our nod to ‘live 25’ with the debut at the 1865 of ‘Forever Oasis’.If you’ve seen these guys already, you’ll know why we are excited to have them on board. If you’ve not, make this your opportunity. While we acknowledge there are many tributes to the Gallagher brothers on the scene, Forever Oasis are our favourite and the likeness to Liam and Noel is uncanny with the band covering the hits and b-sides with an authentic sound, style and swagger. So if you saw the actual Oasis on their recent tour, relive the memories, or if you preferred not to sell a kidney to afford a ticket, here’s your chance to enjoy the music of Oasis in the comfort of the RETRO NIGHT.Our DJ as always is scooter rally favourite and often seen as the support DJ at 1865, Kev ‘Soulboots’ O’Connell. Kev will be keeping the floor moving and you all entertained before, between and after the live music.
