Terraces and Rooftops: Friday Afternoon Lunch & Drinks around Southend

Why not take the AFTERNOON OFF WORK AND JOIN US FOR A SUNNY AFTERNOON ENJOYING SOME LUNCH (optional) and a few DRINKS AT SOME OF THE BEST OUTDOOR TERRACES AND ROOFTOPS IN SOUTHEND.1pm-3pm: We'll laze away the afternoon starting with lunch (optional) and a few drinks at Sands Sea Garden Terrace. Join us whenever you want, but we'll be leaving at 3pm for... 3:15pm-4:30pm: The rooftop terrace at the new Ravens Bar (Clifftown Road). 4:45pm-6pm: The retractable rooftop terrace at Revolution Bar (Queens Road). This will be the perfect opportunity for newer members and those who hardly know us, to meet in a smaller group, have a chat and get to know us over a few drinks. You can join or leave us at any point through the afternoon, although to be involved and get to know people better, I recommend you join us from the start at 1pm. ▿ ✪ RSVP REQUIRED ✪ You must be a member of our club and RSVP before attending. Members can bring a guest as their +1 (who is also single & aged 40-59). If you later find you can't make it, please undo your RSVP asap - it's courteous, only takes a moment and could free up a space for someone else NOTE: Members who clock-up multiple no-shows or lastminute cancellations will gain a reputation for being unreliable and inconsiderate and may be deleted from the club. ▿ ✪ NEWER MEMBERS ✪ For newer members, don't worry about your first few visits as everyone is here to have a good time, make new friends and socialise so you're pretty much guaranteed to enjoy the afternoon. Your hosts will be Mike & Kay. If you don't know us, take a good look at our photos, come and say hello (no matter what we're doing) and we'll introduce you to the others. We'll do our best to look out for you based upon your profile picture (hope its a good one?). ▿ ✪ MEETING SPOT ✪ We'll start at the Sea Garden Terrace in Sands. Just walk through Sands indoor section to reach the terrace. Your hosts will be here from 1pm-3pm at a table as close to the water as possible. If you don't know us, call me (Mike) on[masked] and I'll gladly come outside to meet you by the front door at any of the venues. ▿ ✪ CAR PARK ✪ I would suggest Debenhams Car Park in the Royals Shopping Centre - it's probably easier than trying to find a place on the seafront.
