Chinese Meal @ Zen City

Fancy a sociable Chinese Meal, a few drinks and a chat this Saturday? Well it's time to return to Zen, one of our favourites, this time hosted by Kay and Steven.

Zen offers an eat as much as you like menu with all orders taken at the table for just £14.95 (plus a 10% group service charge of £1.50 each).

There have over 70 dishes to choose from, ranging from the starters like Capital Ribs and Crispy Duck to soups and then the Main course. All food is cooked fresh using the finest ingredients and is served to our table.

You must be a member of our club and RSVP and pay the deposit before attending. Because this is a limited space event, we are unable to include guests, members with an unreliable RSVP record, non-members or couples.

For newer members, don't worry about your first few visits as everyone is here to have a good time, make new friends and socialise so you're pretty much guaranteed to enjoy the evening.

Kay and Steven will be your hosts. If you don't know them, take a look at their photos, come and say hello and they'll introduce you to the others.

✪ MEETING PLACE/TIME ✪

Members who have RSVP'd, please meet inside at our table (name of Kay) from 7:15pm. We'll aim to look at the menu and start ordering around 7:30pm

✪ DRINKS & THE OLD BILL ✪

To avoid us getting a complex bill to sort out at the end, it's essential we buy our own drinks from the bar or waiting staff (if possible) and pay as we go. Thank-you.

✪ DEPOSIT PAYMENT ✪

On the event page, click "YES" to say you are going (or maybe "PAY NOW"). This takes you to a paypal payment page where you can quickly pay either by credit/debit card or via your paypal account.

You will be asked to pay £5.40 of which paypal deduct 40p in fees (they don't work for free). This leaves exactly £5 as your deposit which we will pay the restaurant and will be deducted from the final bill on the day.

✪ REFUNDS ✪

Your deposit is refundable once we have 6 people going and somebody else in the group pays for a space after you have cancelled and all prior cancellations have been filled. Your deposit will definitely be lost if you cancel within 36 hours or do not turn up. Refunds will be paid in cash when you attend your next event.

✪ SETTLING THE BILL - CASH ONLY ✪

At the end, you will simply put in what you owe for your own food, less the £5 deposit which you have paid in advance. YOU MUST BRING CASH to settle your part of the table bill to keep it simple. NO CARD PAYMENTS as this adds time, complexity and stress for your hosts.
