St John Passion – Concert

This Easter, the Oxford Bach Soloists invite you to experience one of Johann Sebastian Bach’s most compelling works, the St John PASSION. Performed across two evenings, the piece tells the story of the PASSION WITH INTIMACY AND DRAMA, brought to life by a superb line-up of musicians.James Oxley will sing the role of the Evangelist, with Jonathan Arnold as Christ and Ben Davies as Pilate. They are joined by Emilia Bertolini, Rebecca Leggett, and Thomas Kelly, alongside our exceptional orchestra and chorus. This year’s chorus brings together our Choral Scholarship Scheme alumni and our new scholars, creating a vibrant and collaborative sound.
