The UK's largest open-air adventure film tour is coming to WARRINGTON!ABOUT THIS EVENT The only outdoor cinema of its kind in the UK; the Frontier Sapiens Film Festival showcases a selection of the world's best adventure, cultural and environmental films from around the globe. Returning to Warrington in 2025 with a BRAND NEW LINE-UP OF FILMS, join us for an evening of captivating, thought-provoking short films featuring inspiring stories of human endeavour. Travel the globe with some of the world’s best filmmakers, and experience extraordinary human spirit and wild adventures on the big screen. Get your friends together, grab your picnic, and prepare for an incredible evening of films under the stars! _*THE 2025 FILM LINE-UP WILL BE ANNOUNCED IN MAY._* See the 2024 line-up here. ⌚ Films start at 8:45pm (access to the seating area will be available from 8:15pm). A collection of short films over the course of the evening. Event ends no later than 11pm. ? Please note, if it is a particularly bright evening, the film start time may be delayed by up to 15 minutes. ? Food and drinks will be available at the venue throughout. Vendor information will be shared closer to the event. ? Please note there may be a small amount of swearing in some of the films. The films are recommended for 12+, but children of any age are welcome to attend. ? We encourage all attendees to bring their own torch / flashlight to use when exiting the venue. ? With the exception of guide dogs, no dogs or other animals are allowed at the event. ☀️ The screening will continue come rain or come shine, so please dress accordingly! If unsafe weather is forecast (high winds / thunder and lightning), the event will be moved INDOORS to the Walton Hall & Gardens Old Riding School. ? Ticket purchase does NOT include seating, but you are welcome to bring your own blankets, cushions or camping chairs to enjoy the show. Deck chairs will also be available to hire on the night for £3, cash only (first come, first served). ? Parking is available at the venue, but please note that customers will need to pay to park as per the official Walton Hall & Garden rates. ? Please ensure you bring your e-ticket with you (on your phone or as a paper ticket). If you have purchased a concession ticket, please arrive with proof of eligibility.
