National Trust Coleshill Big Picnic & Food Festival

A FESTIVAL OF FOOD, FUN & FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT

The National Trust Food Festival and Big Picnic is set in the historic village of Coleshill, a picture perfect Cotswold stone community perched on a beautiful South West Oxfordshire hillside. Join us for a weekend celebrating the talented and enthusiastic growers and artisan producers of the area.

FOOD
Sample from a wide selection of food stalls, take in a series of talks as part of your entry ticket or attend one of the expertly led, separately ticketed, workshops and tastings on our programme.

PICNIC
Be tempted by the aromas and colours of our international street food vendors, or fill your hamper with goodies from artisan cheese makers, baker and growers. Perhaps a little local cider, ale or even a little fizz to wash it down while you enjoy the view or something from our full bill of family friendly entertainment.

FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT
Live music, treasure trails, bubble blowing, arts & crafts, unexpected Pixies, perhaps a little Shakespeare or maybe some good old fashioned storytelling, there is something for everybody and sometimes in the most unlikely of places!

VINTAGE DAY
Sunday is vintage day. There will be the added attraction of the open WW2 secret bunker and we will be getting nostalgic with some classic English summer entertainment. Vintage crafts, music and maybe even some authentic vintage characters! Many of our free talks and demonstrations during this time will look at the changing ideals of food and agriculture and the lessons learned from the necessity of rationing that are being embraced today.

There will be a courtyard market of local arts, crafts and kitchen wares. Your wrist band will gain you access to all free entertainment, talks and trading areas. There are a number of additional ticketed workshops from sushi making and childrens truffle making to wine tasting and viticulture.

The Food Festival runs from 11am until 6pm daily and admission charges apply.

Child tickets purchased in advance with any adult paying ticket - FREE (Otherwise £3 on the door)
