We are delighted to be able to invite families to join us for our exciting summer discovery sessions.
Our summer sessions have been carefully designed to be fun and engaging, whilst also developing children's skills and knowledge as young historians.
Have you ever wondered how an Anglo Saxon kept themselves looking smart? Or how Georgians kept up with up with their school work? Explore our collection and find out about how daily tasks have changed over the last 12,000 years - from Stone Age to the Victorian era - and discover how different your daily life is to the lives of other children throughout history.
Due to social distancing measures we are limited to family groups of a maximum of 4 people, this must include at least one adult.
For children aged 5 - 9 years (age ranges are advisory).
These sessions are held outside so please dress accordingly.
Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
