This is a Cyclone Mountain Bike Club Organised Ride advertised
through BCG.
This is our weekly Club Ride guided by one of our established Ride
Leaders.
The route often takes a minimum of 1 hour and will consist of trails
within Aspley Woods. After the initial first hour the ride may be
extended for an additional hour with the option of a café stop at
Stockgrove Park. If there is a café stop the route often returns via
the Trek Trail at Stockgrove.
There are specific sections of the woods that are technical and some
of the trails are waymarked. The sections of particular fun include:
Spooky Wood; The Thorn Trail; Simon's Whoops; The Empire Strikes Back
and the infamous Bob's Drop-Off.
Guide: Andrew Jenkins
Host: Gavin Vanner - NB. Please note that I am only the Host of the
event but not the guide.
Meeting Point: Aspley Woods, Aspley Guise. At the crossroads within
the woods.
** BCG and Cyclone MTB collaborated from 1 April and thus members can
join each club for a reduced rate; enabling riders to choose from road
or off-roading ventures. Contact either membership secretary through
their website.
