Bike Bus on the Comber Greenway

Do you work near the Comber Greenway or CS Lewis Square - or the Titanic Quarter?Have you thought about cycling in but didn't want to travel on your own? Would you like to try a short cycle into work, as part of a small group ‘bike bus’ from Billy Neill car park to CS Lewis Square or points in between? The bike bus leaves the meeting point of the car park at Billy Neill Soccer Centre and passes by a link to the Ulster Hospital and Stormont Estate - both just another 5 minutes cycle from there, past Ballyhackamore and ending at CS Lewis Square, Holywood Arches. All you need is a roadworthy bike ( eg brakes working, tyres pumped up) , working lights, be able to ride a bike and  be ready to enjoy your journey to work. 5 mile cycle from Billy Neil Car Park to CS Lewis Square  Journey time approx. 45 - 50 minutes - might be longer with short diversion because of work on Greenway - (10% of weekly exercise needed by adults) this is not a speed journey, we will be travelling at a companionable speed. Calories burned; 235 (nearly a whole jam doughnut) each way. You can cycle to join the bus or park at Billy Neill car park. WHAT CAN I BRING INTO THE EVENT? Bring yourself, a roadworthy bike, lights, clothing ready for cold or wet, maybe a bottle of water. WHAT'S THE REFUND POLICY? Tickets are free but if you can't make it let us know and we can offer the places to someone else.
