The food system is one of the big contributors to our carbon footprint, and at the same time its continued ability to provide reliable and cheap food is profoundly vulnerable to climate change. We need to change to a system that is more sustainable and more resilient. But how? Come and hear about the challenges and the opportunities that face us globally and in the North East of Scotland. Dave McGrath-Aberdeen Climate Action-Environmental risks to food supply Ruth Vichos- Scottish Rural University College- Advancedfood production techniques AN Other (to be confirmed) Each speaker will talk for 15 minutes, and after all have spoken there will be a Q&A session with both in person and online audience called to ask questions. The event will start at 7pm but feel free to come in to NESCOL from 6:30 as there is a cafe so you can get a drink and socialise with the other attendees.
