A low impact, fun, effective core-workout!
Drop in Hula Hoop class in the city centre, every Monday in June, time: 12.15-13.15, last one on the 25th, at the South Side Community Centre (117 Nicolson Street). All levels and ages (reccommended from 10 upwards). Perfect for adult beginners! Don't worry if you don't know how to hoop!
- Basic waist hooping. Tips, techniques and lots of practice!
-Moving the arms and legs while keeping the hoop spinning.
-Other fun moves with the hoop on and off the body.
-Putting it together, making it fluid and graceful!
- Lots of laughter and exotic rhythms all around!
Hula hooping is excellent exercise for the core muscles, back and thighs, as well as improving balance and coordination! It's also low impact.
Price: £4, paid cash in class. Hula hoops in various sizes provided! No booking neccesary!
Instructor: Anita has been hula hooping since 2008 and teaching classes in hula hooping and belly dancing in Norway and Malta since 2009.
