11.30am - 12.45pm

Yudowitz Seminar Room, Wolfson Medical School Building

On 26th September Dr Candace Hassall, Head of Researcher Affairs at the Wellcome Trust, will visit the University.

We would like to invite you to an information session delivered by Candy on supporting early-mid career researchers who wish to apply for Wellcome Trust funding.

The event, which will be held at both Garscube and Gilmorehill campuses, will cover the following:

•             Some questions to ask yourself

•             Overview of the Wellcome UK Fellowship programme

•             The application process in general

The event will provide you with an opportunity to receive up-to-date information from Wellcome Trust, to ask questions directly on application development and process, and to discuss tips for grant writing.

There will also be an opportunity to book an individual session with Candy (which can be booked when registering). Please send the following to Debbi.MacMillan@glasgow.ac.uk by 20th September if attending a surgery:

             Brief CV

             Short statement on research interests
