Andy Hay, Procurement Planning Manager from NHS Tayside talks about how they have smashed their reuse targets. In this session he discuss the barriers they have faced getting staff to adopt reuse practices and their top tips for success.
11.10 How to collaborate for a Circular Economy
Rob Gallagher from Remakery talks about how they form innovative collaborations to keep good in circulation for longer. Followed by a discussion around multi sector collaboration.
11.40 How to get a whole sector to adopt reuse and repair practices.
Wendy Raynor from NHS Scotland and Markus Hiemann from National Services Scotland give an insight into the myriad of issues that affect setting up a reuse platform across the whole of NHS Scotland.

12.40 How to identify suitable items for reuse and repair in a large hospital site
Elaine Gray, Purchasing Lead from NHS Glasgow & Clyde set up a reuse system and then went about repairing and refurbishing challenging items. She talks about the lessons they have learned over the last few years.
13.00 Innovation for procurement, FM, waste and sustainability
When it comes to reuse, repair, upcycling or circular business models...
We will explore the common problems that you face in pursuing your day to day objectives. We will identify common areas of pain and you will start to generate some ideas to ease that pain.
We will then group assess the most fruitful ideas for futher development.
13.30 The way forward: How to set up a city and region wide sharing network.
We wrap up the event with Andrew Mouat from Glasgow City Council. Andrew highlights lessons learned from setting up a city wide asset share scheme in Glasgow. We gve you an action plan on how to facilitate more collaboration between the main players in your city and region. You will leave this session with a clear way forward for planning your reuse and repair program in your city or region.
