Born To Be Wide is set to celebrate the people, organisations and companies which sustain Edinburgh’s music scene, as well as exploring how to ensure it can thrive. Taking place at Leith Arches on 26 March, the event will feature a panel and forum, bringing together artists, charities, clubs, collectives, educators, festivals, labels, media, promoters, record shops, venues and others who make the community.
The evening will provide a platform for a broad range of individuals and organisations in the capital - from grassroots initiatives to major events - and will highlight the creative, social and economic benefits they generate. Moreover, it will serve as a forum for attendees to raise the challenges they face and what needs to be done to ensure that the sector can flourish.
