Course Content:

Expected Outcomes:
- Practitioners will have improved confidence in providing effective learning environments for very young children
- Practitioners will have improved knowledge and understanding of the significance of establishing close attachment relationships
- Practitioners will have greater understanding of the importance of early brain development and linking this knowledge to the adult role in scaffolding learning experiences
- Practitioners will have clearer understanding of adult roles in promoting quality early learning and childcare to secure better outcomes for children.
- Practitioners will have improved confidence in their knowledge of the 0-3 yr olds as active learners and how they can link this to observing and planning learning experiences
- Practitioners will have improved confidence in relating theory-to-practice.
- Practitioners will have improved confidence and understanding of using self- evaluation in daily practice to support critical reflection.
