Blue Christmas 2025

Blue Christmas is an event curated by seminal Edinburgh blues artist Jed Potts, with the help of some of his very talented pals.

It was first held in 2016 and has since become a must-see event in Edinburgh’s festive calendar. 
Blue Xmas has always been a charity event, and this year we will once again be donating all proceeds from the event to Social Bite. Social Bite are a charity and social business providing homes, jobs, food, and support to empower people to transform their own lives. Social Bite's vision is a society where no one should have to be homeless, challenging the status quo by pioneering solutions that create lasting change. Through free food services, job programmes and village communities, Social Bite work towards breaking the cycle of homelessness with people at the heart. **Social Bite's Festival of Kindness: Over the winter period, Social Bite's Festival of Kindness campaign is on a mission to provide 300,000 meals, gifts and essential items to those in need, locally and throughout the UK. Since 2014, Social Bite have opened their shops every Christmas Day and Christmas Eve to host festivities with all the trimmings, for people who might not have anywhere else to go. Any donations, gifts or support go such a long way at this crucial time of year, with just £5 being able to provide a hot meal to someone in need this winter.**
