Caerphilly Big Cheese Festival

   Set in the shadows of one of Europe's largest Castles, the town of Caerphilly comes to life as people of all ages come to The Big Cheese, an extravaganza of street entertainers, music, dance, a traditional funfair, folk dancing, fire-eating and much more. Families from all over the country flocked to Caerphilly to experience this fun-filled program of activities and entertainment. Exciting new street food vendors will be dotted around the site with show cooking and some unusual and exotic tastes. From noodles to crepes, there is a feast to be had! There will also be some alternative street food vendors. Entertainment is the life and soul of the festival with live music acts, choirs and dancers. Caerphilly Castle is transformed into a medieval encampment with re-enactment displays and battles. Children's activities are plentiful with animal encounters, crafts, displays and much more.
