Beginners Part 3

Please note that that this is a basic outline and course contents may vary slightly.
Unit 1: Revision of previous patterns plus introduction to the positive and negative present tense of 'bod- to be'. Delegates will be wroking with adjectives and verbs.
Unit 2: In this unit delegates will be expressing positive and negative opinions in a variety of ways in both the first and third person (singular and plural).
Unit 3: In this unit, delegates will be giving information about a third person. The unit will also consider jobs and delegates will learn how to use the 'his' and 'her' constructions.
Unit 4: In this unit, delegates will learn how to talk and ask about possessions in a variety of contexts. Delegates will learn how to say what I, you, he/she, we and they have.
Unit 5: Delegates will be introduced to the concept of telling the time and describing daily routines (present tense).
Unit 6: An introduction to the 'rhaid i fi' construction so that delegates can say what they have to do/ don't have to do. They will also learn how to construct the command form of the verb.
Unit 7: Delegates will learn to describe and talk about illnesses.
Timings
Who should attend this course?
The contents of all of the courses have been developed for both Primary and Secondary school based staff and aim to develop delegates’ Welsh language skills and pedagogy. All courses follow on from each other and delegates can enter the programme of courses at the appropriate stage.
What to bring…
Delegates should bring a Smart phone or iPad / Tablet if they have one, any stationery that they require and a sense of humour!
