Let’s show her Swansea stands for solidarity, not division. Known for: Calling migrants “cockroaches”, a chilling echo of Nazi terminology (The Sun, 2015) Supporting far-right hate speech Attacking Muslims, refugees, LGBTQ+ people, people living with disabilties, working class people, Palestinians and the poor. “This type of language is clearly inflammatory and unacceptable, and is akin to that used in the lead-up to genocide.” UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Zeid Ra’ad Al Hussein (2015) This is not free speech. It’s hate speech. In times like these when the far right is spreading its hateful agenda, it's vital that Swansea says NO.
