Saturday 27th April 2019 - PEAKY BLINDERS AND 1920'S VINTAGE RACE NIGHT & Live SINGER.Step back in time and through the secret door of the Garrison Tavern and into the murky underworld of the Peaky Blinders illegal backroom gambling den where you can have a flutter on the Gee Gees. Dig deep and place your bets at Thomas Shelby and Sons backstreet bookmakers situated in the backroom snug of the Garrison Tavern. The first 4 races will take about an hour and we then take a break for some pub grub. What’s on the special board today? Steak & Ale Pie / Chicken & Mushroom / Vegetarian Pie with Chunky Chips, Mushy Peas and Gravy followed by New York cheesecake, seasonal berry compote. After pudding we return to the Gee Gees for part 2 and flutter away our Shelby Shillings and cheer on the nags all the way to the finishing post. The guest who has accumulated the most Shillings at the end of the night will be awarded their prize. Any bribery or foul play with be dealt with accordingly by Order of the Peaky Blinders!
