Born from the Liburnia Jazz Association’s long-running initiative (2005–2020), the project connects global musicians with traditional Croatian music—reimagined through their own artistic lenses. 05.07.2025. Soaring on dragon wings and guided by Orko’s magic, they push the boundaries of sound—exploring the cosmos, their deep-rooted heritage, and the raw energy of movement, often known as dance. Blending genres with fearless creativity, their music defies definition. Is it jazz? Is it rock? Alba Nacinovich – vocal / Leo Škec – guitar / Aldo Foško - bass clarinet / Miroslav Tovirac – bass / Marco D'Orlando - drums Alba & Leo is an “augmented reality” band. Alba's voice, compared as much to Björk's as to Janis Joplin's, is jazz dexterity with a rock edge. Leo's naughty approach to acoustic guitar seamlessly combines fingerstyle, percussive sounds and distortion.
