Robo RIOTS BRINGS FAMOUS ROBOTS FROM BBC’s hit TV show Robot Wars, to battle it out live in Dublin.Get ready for an electrifying experience as your favourite robots take to the arena in our action-packed family show! Witness the biggest, baddest, strongest, and fastest next-generation 120kg robots from BBC’s Robot Wars along with newcomers from all over Ireland and the UK competing in three-minute bouts where the ultimate goal is to destroy or disable the opponent and reign supreme in Robot Combat Sports. Watch in awe as Robot Wars Champions like Thor, Diotoir, and Beast go head-to-head against veterans such as Flick, Ripper, and KingB, and novice robots such as Iron Heart and Teresa Mayhem. Bounty fights, robot rumbles, and grudge rematches will keep you on the edge of your seat during the 2020 event. This is the first full-length heavyweight combat robot tournament of its scale in Ireland, and every live event session promises metal-munching, head-to-head, monster matchups and jaw-dropping exhibition matches that fans have always dreamt of. Robot battling is a true sport of the future, with all the right elements: mad science, gladiatorial combat, plucky garage inventors, and hi-tech machinery. Witness the evolution of machines from an engineering challenge to a hi-tech operational challenge with space-age materials. Apart from the heavyweight action, you can also catch the smaller featherweights, with up to 10 robots in one fight! But that’s not all – the show also features celebrity robots like R2-D2, a Dalek, a Minecraft Creeper, and AL-1X, our very own z-list celebrity robot. You can also watch seven-foot rockem sockem boxing robots trading haymakers in a no holds barred one-on-one slugfest to literally knock each other’s block off.
