Description

Please be aware that students often repeat levels.
Always consider your child's swimming skills when registering for a lesson. Instructors and Aquatics staff are happy to discuss and recommend the appropriate level for your swimmer. Please contact the Parks & Recreation office if you have any questions regarding the skill level of your swimmer.

Must successfully pass Level 1 or meet the passing requirements of Level 1. Students will learn locomotion and floating in the water without support. This class builds foundations for swimming independently and teaches students primary stoke mechanics that will enforce higher level learning. Students will be introduced breathing patterns, body positioning, wall gliding, and coordinated kicking and arm movement.

Each Class is
25 minutes long

If your swimmer cannot be enrolled because of age, please come in to the office at 230 W Elm Street for enrollment.
