Garda Lift On Fire - What to do - Events

GARDA LIFT ON FIRE is a unique international firefighting competition. Aimed at all fire brigades, the race will take place in RIVA DEL GARDA, on the shores of the lake. Starting from the central Piazza III Novembre, the route will pass through the streets of the old town centre and then climb up the steps next to the panoramic lift leading to the ancient Torrione del Bastione, where the race will end. Overall, the route will cover 500 linear metres, with a total height difference of 150 metres and an average gradient of 28%, with peaks of 91%. The aim is for competitors to reach the top in the shortest possible time, without running out of air in the cylinder.FIRE VILLAGE The entire event will be surrounded by the Fire Village, which will include an exhibition area dedicated to industry sponsors and their products, and a party area, where participants, tourists and onlookers can meet, exchange ideas and make friends. All this will be possible while remaining connected to the unfolding of the race on the big screen.
