Prepare to be left in stitches as The Daily Show host Trevor Noah is
heading to our sunny shores for not one but two stand-up shows at The
Star Theatre. And get this – both shows are set to take place
consecutively on the same day on August 19. Since having the torch
passed from The Daily Show OG, Jon Stewart, in 2015, the South
African satirical presenter has performed at sold-out venues around
the world, dishing out his signature jokes and witty remarks about
politics, race and class. However, his breakthrough dates back to the
2012 Edinburgh Fringe where he showcased his comedy chops on his show
The Racist, landing him his US television debut on The Tonight Show
with Jay Leno and Late Show with David Letterman . His credits also
include nine comedy specials like Afraid of the Dark and Son of
Patricia on Netflix. Due to sold-out shows worldwide and
an overwhelming demand here in Singapore, your best bet is to secure
your tickets pronto.
