From now till June 2020, KOMYUNITI will be hosting KOM-Pair, a monthly
menu featuring a pairing of food and drink inspired by one unique
ingredient every month. This exciting partnership between kitchen and
bar highlights the adaptability and creativity of KOMYUNITI, while
delighting guests with interesting flavours and inventive
techniques. Paint the town red in February with beetroot! With its
unmistakable crimson hue, both bar and kitchen serve up offerings that
showcase a new side to this superfood. Ready your taste buds for a
pairing that’s hard to beet.
The kitchen will be presenting Beetroot nuggets with mint yoghurt
sauce ($8++). Beetroot fritters are mixed with a medley of vegetables
and coated with a crunchy beet tempura batter, and served with a
home-made mint yoghurt sauce.
To pair, the KOMYUNITI Bar has created BEET IT ($16++). Made with
beet juice, lemon juice, ginger honey, ginger ale & rosemary, and
Buffalo Trace Bourbon. The beetroot’s natural earthiness is balanced
with sweet honey and tangy ginger and lemon flavours. Plus, top up
just $2 with every order of BEET IT to get a tasting portion of the
beetroot nuggets, and you’ll have a hearty pairing combo
($18++).
