Club Caliente, where small crowds make big waves, is founded by DJs Doppelgang and Queen Saba. Born from the desire to reconnect with the origins of electronic music and honor the visionaries who built the foundation for the sounds we love today. In a time where electronic music often chases harder and faster rhythms, we choose a different path—slowing things down to truly merge with the sound we love and experience a collective feeling of transcending into a new world together. From the soulful energy of early house and disco to the hypnotic rhythms of electro and Italo, Club Caliente is about rediscovering the magic of timeless music. We create an intimate space where music unites us on a shared journey, bridging the past, present, and future. For the first ever edition at Doka, Club Caliente invites vinyl collector and master selector om314 to share his most rare and precious records. – Before we kick off Club Caliente, photographer Rein van Leeuwen will present his analogue photo series The Promised Land. In this series he pays homage to nightlife and the creatures that inhabit it. Exploring club culture as a means of escaping the constraints of everyday life. Through his lens, nightlife becomes an elusive, almost otherworldly phenomenon, where time and space do not exist, and reality is momentarily transcended.
