Songs for the Deaf uit Gent was oorspronkelijk begonnen als STONERBAND MUFFLER MEN. Het lot besloot dat Muffler Men meer en meer QOTSA-songs speelde waarna begin 2015 besloten werd om als tribute van QOTSA verder te gaan. Na wat extra gitaarversterking ter perfectie was Songs for the Deaf geboren. Van alle QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE-albums komen nummers voorbij, niet alleen de hits, maar ook de persoonlijke favorieten van de band.
