The Commission for Children and Young People (the Commission) is
pleased to invite you to register for a full-day FORUM ON CONDUCTING
INVESTIGATIONS UNDER THE REPORTABLE CONDUCT SCHEME (the SCHEME). This
FORUM AIMS TO DEEPEN PARTICIPANTS’ knowledge and understanding of
the particular requirements of INVESTIGATIONS INTO REPORTABLE
ALLEGATIONS UNDER THE SCHEME. The FORUM WILL COMBINE PRESENTATIONS
WITH FACILITATED WORKSHOPS ADDRESSING DIFFERENT ELEMENTS OF
INVESTIGATIONS UNDER THE SCHEME. Topics include: Procedural fairness
Conflicts of interest Types of REPORTABLE CONDUCT PLANNING
INVESTIGATIONS IDENTIFYING EVIDENCE MAKING FINDINGS PLEASE NOTE THAT
THE CONTENT OF THIS FORUM IS NOT AIMED AT AN INTRODUCTORY LEVEL.
Existing knowledge of the REPORTABLE CONDUCT SCHEME IS ESSENTIAL. This
session is recommended for those who undertake INVESTIGATIONS INTO
REPORTABLE ALLEGATIONS OR WHO ENGAGE INVESTIGATORS. The FORUM WILL
OPEN AT 8:30am for registration, with speakers commencing at 9:00am
sharp and concluding at 4:00pm.. Lunch is provided and if you have any
dietary requirements, please email contact@ccyp.vic.gov.au. Ample
on-site parking is available. Tickets are strictly limited to two per
organisation. Please note that this is a strictly-limited event with
only three sessions in May and June 2019. Sessions are being held in
