FRANKLIN SUMMER FEST 2020 (EARLYBIRD First Release tickets on sale
now) Get your friends together for the biggest party in town featuring
a great line up of super talented 'about to be famous' home grown kiwi
bands including The Rvmes, Burn the Bridges, The Dave Alley Band and
Hot Diggity. Enjoy the lip smacking selection of delicious gourmet
food from slow cooked bbq through to seafood and vegan dishes
accompanied by a fine selection of wines, ciders and craft beers. The
inaugural FRANKLIN SUMMER FEST IS BEING HELD IN A SEMI RURAL SETTING
ON THE EDGE OF TOWN AT THE PUKEKOHE SHOWGROUNDS TO CREATE AN OLD
SCHOOL RELAXED FESTIVAL VIBE. Slap on your sunscreen, grab your picnic
blanket, put on your dancing jandals and get ready to celebrate SUMMER
IN FRONT OF THE BIG STAGE AND HAVE A HUGE DAY OF FUN. Gates open to

requirements to enter the event? Children 14 years and under as at
concert date are free ONLY when accompanied by a paying *****.
Remember this is a liquor licenced event and it is a party so if you
are ok with that and can keep your children supervised at all times we
are happy to have them there to enjoy the day with you. (Proof of
childrens age maybe required). Anyone under the age of 18 must have a
supervising ***** present while on the festival site due to liquor
licence requirements. ID will be required when ordering alcoholic
beverages if you look under 25. What are my parking options for
getting to and from the event? Free parking via Gate 7 off Station
Road. What can I bring into the event? Alcohol is not permitted to
be bought into or taken out of the venue to comply with the NZ Liquor
Licencing laws. A range of wine, beer and non alcoholic beverages will
be available for purchase at the festival. FREE water will be
available. NO GLASS permitted at the venue. Acrylic Festival glasses
will be supplied to all ticket holders. Please note: the management
reserves the right to search bags and coolers on entry and prohibited
items will be confiscated. Deck chairs are permitted to be used at the
venue but please be considerate to the people around you - we prefer
the use of low profile chairs. Sun shades and umbrellas are permitted
in designated areas (MUST be well anchored). Is there food available?
Yes there will be a large selection of delicious food choices
available for purchase. How can I contact the organizer with any
questions info@nowevents.co.nz What's the refund policy? No refund
unless event cancelled by organiser. What if it rains? The show
will go on rain or shine so come prepared for NZ's changeable weather.
The festival will only be cancelled if the conditions are considered
dangerous by the organisers. Wheelchair access? The venue is flat but
is a grass venue and there will be wheelchair accessible toilets
available. Other info Medical services will be on site No animals
except guide dogs No cookers or fires permitted on site Smoking and
Vaping only in designated areas Please bring cash in case some vendors
do not have card facilities. Management reserves the right to remove
or refuse entry to ticket holders considered dangerous or a nuisance
or failing to comply with reasonable requests. Under NZ Liquor
Licencing laws there is a zero tolerance policy for intoxication and
people that are heavily under the influence of alcohol. We do our best
to provide a safe and enjoyable environment at this event to ensure
everyone has a great time and we meet the conditions of our liquor
licence. If we feel that a festival goer may have had a bit too much
to drink they will respectfully pulled aside by security and taken to
our special customer care area where they can regroup before a
possible re-entry or safe departure home.
