Bring Your Own Beamer: CURRENTS (BYOB: CURRENTS) is a one-night
community event on projector-based media. Featuring ARTISTS AND
CREATIVES IN SINGAPORE, the event brings together real-time visuals,
generative systems and new media pieces. BYOB: CURRENTS IS RUN IN A
SHOPHOUSE, where visitors will traverse along a route across three
floors of evolving setups and light-based experiments. This event
draws inspiration from the Bring Your Own Beamer (BYOB) movement, a
series of one-night exhibitions initiated by Anne de Vries and Rafaël
Rozendaal in Berlin in 2010. This event envisions a democratised
future for new media art and projection-based work, increasing
accessibility to ARTISTS FROM DIFFERENT BACKGROUNDS. Organised by Jake
Tan Produced by Tusitala Curated by Rachel Poonsiriwong Programme ?
