MUAS Volunteering @ YMCA PROMS 2019

Join us as a volunteer and be part of the MUAS network in support of YMCA PROMS 2019 - a fun-filled carnival for persons with special needs. Enjoy a Saturday afternoon as a befriender to bond with some special needs friends over a host of interesting performances and exciting carnival activities. As a befriender, your key role is to encourage the special needs friends to try out the activities planned for them and provide positive reinforcement. By volunteering at this event, we can experience the joy of connecting with our special needs friends and help create a more caring Singapore.We are gathering a group of 20 volunteers. This event is open to Monash alumni and family/friends. Minimum age requirement is 17 years old and above. Volunteers are advised NOT to bring any children along as the organiser is expecting 500 beneficiaries on event day.
