We did it! Nov 2018 was the first time we explored Mt PULAG VIA THE AKIKI TRAIL WHILE PREVIOUSLY WE HAVE BEEN GOING THROUGH AMBENGEG TRAIL FOR 6 YEARS STRAIGHT...It was well worth it; the beauties of the trail and serenity that comes with the trek is like none other. Come along and experience the different side of Mt Pulag like never before ;) Although this infamous trail is not a walk in the park, it offers much more rewarding experiences vs the other trails, including 1. The many panoramic viewpoints along the trail for your instagrammable moments. The trail itself is rich in flora and is unique; passing through the winding S shaped Malboro Country, clear chilling rivers and Tall Pine Forest. 2. A much peaceful and quiet trail/campsite, away from the maddening crowd you will always encounter in the other routes, giving you the much needed “zen” time with the nature during the hike and at the rest points. Log-in. Briefing by National park and continue jeep ride to TRAILHEAD 10:00 Start trek to Eddet River, Pine forest and MAlboro Country. Break for lunch midway. ETA to campsite by 1700. 19:00 Dinner (Included) 21:00 Lights out. *DAY 2 - November 29, 2019* 07:00 Wakeup call. Breakfast and prepare packed lunch (Included) 09:00 Break camp. 10:00 Start trek through Saddle and winding Mossy Forest. Lunch otw (included) 15:00 ETA to reach campsite. 19:00 Dinner(included) 21:00 Lights out. *Day 3 - November 30, 2019* 0430 Wakeup call 0500 Summit Assault, Sunrise and descend for breakfast (included) 0800 Break Camp and start descent to Ranger Station 1200 ETA back at Ranger Station and return to Baguio.
