About the Speaker

Ridhma Dhar is a solutions consultant for IP solutions, Southeast Asia at Clarivate Analytics, formerly the IP and science business of Thomson Reuters.
With over a decade of experience in intellectual property, Ms Dhar has worked with universities and corporate and governmental clients to help them to power innovation and make confident IP decisions. She has worked across the IP lifecycle and her areas of expertise include prior art searches, patent analytics and IP management. She has conducted several IP awareness workshops and speaks regularly at innovation and IP events. Before joining Clarivate Analytics, Ms Dhar worked with IBM and Evalueserve.
Ms Dhar graduated from Punjab Engineering College in India with a degree in electronics and telecommunications engineering. It was her training at the World Intellectual Property Organisation summer school in South Korea that led her to a career in intellectual property. Ms Dhar has lived in India, Thailand and Singapore.
