ONDA will team up with the Burns Paiute Tribe and Keen Footwear to improve wildlife habitat in Logan Valley, located just south of the Strawberry Mountain Wilderness in Grant County, Oregon.
On this project, employees of Keen will harvest native plant seed that will be grown out in a green house on the Burns Paiute reservation. Mature plants will be used in restoration plantings the following year that will improve wildlife habitat on tribal properties.
Highlights include exploring a beautiful and remote part of Oregon with ONDA and the Burns Paiute Tribe as your expert guides, learning how to cultivate and establish a rare plant species, and having the area all to ourselves.
