MATTA Fair
is Malaysia’s largest and most widely attended consumer travel exhibition, organised by the
Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA)
. It serves as a major marketplace for licensed travel agencies, airlines, hotels, tourism boards and travel service providers to present a wide array of domestic and international holiday packages, promotional deals and travel‑related products directly to the public. The fair has long been established as a key event in Malaysia’s travel calendar, attracting thousands of visitors seeking both leisure inspiration and value‑for‑money travel opportunities.
The 2026 National MATTA Fair in
Kuala Lumpur
will be held from
3 to 5 April 2026
at the
Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC)
, with free admission for visitors. This edition is part of a broader 2026 MATTA events calendar that includes regional fairs in:
- Perak (7–8 March)
- Kuching (28–29 March)
- Johor Bahru (10–12 April)
- Sabah (17–19 April)
- Penang (25 April)
Each of the above at major convention venues across Malaysia, all organised by MATTA to bring travel deals closer to communities nationwide.
For 2026, the MATTA Fair in Kuala Lumpur — its
58th edition
— is expected to feature more than 2,000 booths and over 300 exhibitors across multiple halls, showcasing travel deals, holiday experiences and licensed tourism services. Highlights include dedicated displays of responsible and sustainable travel offerings under the
MATTA Eco & Sustainable Tourism Initiative (MESTI)
, interactive sessions, contests such as the popular
