Writers' Chat with Amy Stewart

Welcome to my monthly chat with writers, where we choose a topic to talk about, and I take your questions! This group is open to writers of all experience levels and backgrounds. Sometimes we talk about the creative process, sometimes it's research, and sometimes it's the publishing side of the business. We are not a critique group, which is to say that we don't share and read each other's writing. It's more of a friendly chat among colleagues.

Every month, the group decides what we're going to talk about next month. In May our topic will be the challenge of actually sitting down to start writing--and how to keep going--once you've done your research, made your notes and outlines, and you're down to the task of putting paragraphs on pages!

I'm also happy to take your questions about anything and everything writing and book-related.
