Choral Conducting 101

This 4-week hands-on course will guide you through the essentials for leading a choir. No experience needed.

Perfect for:

• Church choir conductors (new or experienced)

• Anyone interested in choral conducting

• Basic conducting patterns

• Rehearsal tips and warm-ups

• Vocal technique and musicianship

• Church-friendly repertoire

Bonus (optional):

One-on-one coaching at your choir’s rehearsal. Limited to 4 choirs, $200 extra.

About the Instructors:

Tham Pei Wen is a choral conductor and music educator who started inclusive music programmes at Pathlight School, APSN Katong School, and Voices of Singapore. She brings practical experience and a heart for helping every learner grow through music.

Dr Judith Laoyan-Mosomos is MSM’s Director of Worship & Church Music and conductor of the Chancel Choir at Kampong Kapor Methodist Church. Her passion for church music ministry makes her an encouraging guide for those looking to grow as a conductor.
