What is the Sinulog Festival? The Sinulog Festival in Cebu is one of the grandest and most colourful festivals in the Philippines. It is a nine-day celebration culminated by a grand Mardi Gras-ish parade. Participants are garbed in bright coloured costumes and dance to native gongs, drums and trumpets. After the parade, the Basilica Minore del Sto. Nino de Cebu hosts the reenactment of the Christianizing of Cebu.
