Becoming a NURSING ASSISTANT REGISTERED PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES TO WORK
IN NURSING HOMES; Hospitals; assisted living facilities; and many
other health care positions where patient assistance is needed. This
NURSING ASSISTANT COURSE IS A PREPORATORY COURSE TO READY THE STUDENT
TO TAKE THE MN STATE EXAM. The COURSE PROVIDES AT LEAST 35 HOURS
ONLINE DIDACTIC LEARNING AND MUST INCLUDE AT LEAST 45 HOURS CLINICAL
AND LAB COMPLETED AT A SPONSORING LONG TERM CARE FACILITY (for a a
total of 80 hours). NOTE: all students MUST have a sponsoring facility
in which they can do their clinical training. The sponsoring site must
