HACKING FOR HUMANITY ROMANIA 2018 [https://www.girlswhocode.ro/hacking-for-humanity-2018/] OVERVIEW The GIRLS IN TECH HACKATHON [http://hackingforhumanity.girlsintech.org/] is a 2.5 days code-a-thon where developers, designers, students, entrepreneurs and educators gather to collaborate on projects including applications, software, hardware, data visualization and platform solutions. This event gives you the chance to flex your skills, work with fellow hackers, and learn something new, such as a programming language or API.  Are you a developer, designer, product manager, UXer, sales or marketing professional? Join HACKING FOR HUMANITY! Teams of hackers, females and males, will invent, create, problem-solve and prototype for 2.5 days in June. OUR FOCUS Promoting Gender Equality in Tech The Hackathon promotes gender equality and bridging the gap in the technology and startup spaces. Hackathons exist to enable the rapid prototyping of a complex problem and provide a range of solutions in a short period of time. By hacking with Girls in Tech, we are aiming to think bigger for global change with tech, whilst also allowing impassioned women and men to engage in innovation and entrepreneurship within our tech ecosystem.
