Crazy Opera Parody The Spanish ensemble Yllana was formed in 1991 and
during its career so far has played about twelve thousand performances
in 44 countries worldwide. Yllana has appeared at the largest world
theatre festivals in Canada and New York and has more than thirty
different projects in its repertoire. Among the awards it has won is
the Spanish Max Prize for the best children’s performance in
2012. In Slovakia the ensemble gave an exceptionally successful
performance of its show PaGAGnini, which was presented at the Viva
Musica! festival in 2016. This summer Yllana is arriving with its
musico-theatrical project The Opera Locos, a crazy parody on opera. An
evening full of the most famous opera hits of all time, overlapping
with rock and pop rendered by five outstanding opera singers, promises
an unforgettable experience for the entire family, and will delight
not only opera enthusiasts but also those who are operatically
completely unversed. July 18, 2019 at the Viva Musica! festival. This
concert is suitable for children from 10 years of age and above.
