accomplished sailor and boat designer, that enabled his participation
in the Fourth Southeast Asian Peninsular Games held in Bangkok,

Celebration of this holiday supports the development of national sport
and helps inform public about the importance of sport for everyday
life. People are encouraged to participate in different sports
competitions and events. Annually numerous award presenting ceremonies
of the sportspersons are organized on this day. The Thai sports
