Jones Valley Teaching Farm believes in the power of food, which is
evident if you’ve ever been to our popular Twilight Supper
fundraiser on the downtown farm. Due to the high demand for tickets
and our commitment to connecting that magical night to more guests
throughout our community, we are excited to announce the launch of our
Twilight Supper Series presented by PNC Bank. Modeled after our annual
fundraiser, we will host seasonal dinners featuring award-winning
chefs in unique locations in and around Birmingham. Proceeds will
benefit our food-based education model, Good School Food, in
Birmingham City Schools.
Founded by Jones Valley Teaching Farm board member Chef Frank Stitt,
and supported by award-winning chefs over the years, our Twilight
Supper has contributed significantly to Jones Valley Teaching Farm’s
overall growth and has fueled the expansion of Good School Food from
one to seven Birmingham City Schools - including over a million
dollars in Teaching Farm infrastructure on school campuses.
Our first Twilight Supper Series dinner will be on Saturday, November
17th at 6 pm and will feature award-winning chef, Bill Briand, from
Fisher’s at Orange Beach. Join us at SawWorks for an unforgettable
evening with cocktails, a coastal-inspired menu, music, and a few
surprises. Tickets are on sale now, but will sell out fast!
