Le Tour De Ham at Avondale Brewery

Join us for a social bicycle ride that tours through the fun parts of BIRMINGHAM. Spandex is not required and all bikes and abilities are welcome. We will ride a 12 mile loop through the Magic City!　Ride meets at 6:00 pm & rolls at 6:15 pm every Tuesday from the back patio at Avondale Brewing Company.　 Free parking is available beside the brewery. The pay lot will be validated with a purchase from Avondale or other participating establishments.　 Bici Coop will open the shop at 5:30 for light repairs and air service. They are located in the Make BHM building on 3rd (across the street from Saw's).　 After the ride, food can be purchased and brought back to the brewery. 　 Melt and Fancy's on 5th are offering riders a 15% discount on food.　 Wasabi Juan's is offering riders a 10% discount.　 Helmets are not required for riders 16 years of age or older, but are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!　 Most of our ride should be in the daylight for now, but we do encourage the use of front and back lights so you can be seen.　 Le Tour De Ham is an unsanctioned and unsupported event on an open course through the city. Ride at your own risk. Riders are expected to come prepared with water, spare tube, lights and a bike that is in good working order. Riders are expected to obey all traffic laws that apply. We will stop at all red lights and stay as far right as possible unless we are making a left hand turn. Please stay behind the ride leader and ahead of the sweeper.
