OSHA 10 - Hour Construction Training

It takes everyone to ensure these areas are kept safe. This engaging class showcases the guidelines for the Occupational and Safety Health Administration specific to the construction industry. It informs entry level construction workers about their rights and their employer’s responsibilities. The instructor offers tips on how to identify, abate, avoid, and prevent job related hazards on a construction job site. Finally, the thorough, 10-hour program discusses a variety of construction safety and health hazards which a worker may encounter on site and offers ideas on how to prevent and/or mitigate those issues. LEARNING OBJECTIVES: * Understand OSHA’s Focus Four Hazards: Falls, Electrocution, Struck-by and Caught-In or Between * Identify multiple hazards on the worksite * Understand methods to avoid and control workplace hazards and injuries * Understand and effectively apply worker’s rights and employer’s responsibilities per OSHA Standards ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:  Dave Reynolds has more than 15 years of experience in the health and safety industry. He is a certified instructor for CPR/AED/1st Aid, American Red Cross and American Safety and Health Institute, OSHA 10 and 30-hour trainer in Construction and General Industry Safety and Health.
