This four-hour class will provide you the tools to develop your coaching and mentoring skills. Moreover, it will provide you knowledge of when to use each, and provide you the foundation to become a role model for others.
Learning Objectives:
• Understand the difference between coaching, counseling, mentoring and advising;
• Identify the skills necessary and commit to developing the ability to coach and mentor others effectively;
• Navigate through situations where specific coaching is necessary versus situations where mentoring is appropriate; and
• Effectively coach and mentor others and become a role model for peers to emulate.
