Please Join Us for a Two Part Series! A TRAUMA INFORMED LOOK INTO
SEXUALIZED BEHAVIOR, TREATMENT OPTIONS, and Engaging Family Members
Part 1: Join us as we learn from a trauma informed perspective on
identifying the different types or sexualized behaviors,
differentiating the non-offending types from the offending types. We
will discuss the prevalence of this type of behavior and signs/red
flags. We will provide guidance regarding reporting of the behaviors
when identified and discuss how to engage client and family in open
and honest discussion regarding the identified behavior and finding
access to appropriate treatment.
Part 2: (To be held on July 24th from 12-2PM). CLICK HERE TO REGISTER

This presentation will focus on the different treatment modalities and
how to assist families with accessing them, including an honest
conversation about what to expect from the different modalities and
providers in terms of restrictions on Client social activities and
collaboration with Probation Departments for the best outcome for
Client and family. Trainings Facilitated by: Haley Biehler and Drew
Pease.
Haley Biehler has a Master of Advanced Study in Marriage and Family
Therapy. She has seen firsthand the impact the child’s ecological
systems can have on the development and wellbeing of our children.
Through study and experience she has seen how powerful taking a
systemic approach to addressing problematic behaviors in the youth’s
natural ecology can be. She currently is the clinical program
supervisor of the Multisystemic Therapy (MST) and Multisystemic
Therapy for Problematic Sexual Behavior (MST-PSB) programs at the
Touchstone Health Services site in Tucson, AZ.
Drew Pease has a Master of Advanced Study in Marriage and Family
Therapy. Over the past five years he has focused his work on the
juvenile population, primarily those exhibiting sexual misbehavior,
and who engage in sexual offenses toward another person or being. As a
family therapist from training, Drew takes a systemic approach, with a
trauma focus, when working with clients and families, as it has been
identified that a systemic approach provides for greater outcomes in
helping juveniles reduce the sexual harming behaviors and engage in
meeting those needs in a more positive manner. He is currently a
clinical supervisor with Grossman and Grossman Ltd.
